Focusing mechanisms by nature and eager to experience the diverse sensations of this intriguing physical realm, we rejoiced in our newfound bodies despite their apparent confines. For we knew we were the creators of our own reality and could turn our attentions onto anything we desire.

Sometimes indiscriminate in our focus, our seemingly limited forms drew our attention to inputs it required sparking fresh desire. Desire for clear air, clean water, nourishing food, even the touch of another. Due to this desire, we began to look to others to fulfill our needs, thereby fostering dependence.

As our dependence grew, the knowledge of our limitless nature faded. That is why for many of us, the desire for more means looking to others. And the bigger the desire, the more others we feel we need to agree. That is why many seek to gather signatures, or experience a compulsion to be right, or seek out wealth, or even feel the need to eliminate those who would disagree. They believe it is up to others to give them what they need. But none of this is true for we are still limitless beings, even if we are in cages of our own making.

Once we decide to shed the shackles we’ve placed on ourselves by choosing with greater intent the thoughts we think, we begin to see everyone we draw into our experience as a springboard to what we desire rather than the obstacle we so often believe them to be.
